One of My Most Interesting Students German Firma Paz

FOR GERMAN

Today a student reached out to me.
He had been in my drop out prevention class on a most eventful and interesting year.
Many of the events revolved around him, of course!
He was brilliant, only he didn't know it.
He had been placed in low achieving classes, but his mind soared higher in lofty thoughts than most.
The things he said and they ways in which he said them were so colorful and original...

I remember him still!

There will never be a time in my mind or heart where German is not in a small corner causing me to laugh, to think, to perplex with thought at his way of expressing the obvious and mundane.

Today he decided to become a writer and he told me about his intent.

I'm looking forward to all the writings from this unique thinker.
I read him in the privacy of my classroom with the 25 other souls who saw him toil with a pencil.
When his creativity can be shared out loud and with the world...
I'll be happy for us all... and Proud!

Because I know the world needs to Know...
